the spacious rooms were clean, albeit slightly dated, with maintenance issues in the toilets that needed attention. the room size and cleanliness compensated for these minor inconveniences, along with the fantastic valley views from certain rooms like 311. the hotel's proximity to Thamarasheri Churam and tourist attractions was convenient, although it is slightly outside the city center. the staff's helpfulness and various amenities like ample parking and recreational options on the 5th floor added to the overall positive experience. the on-site restaurant served decent food, and the fast WiFi was a boon for digital nomads like myself. the rooftop swimming pool offered a beautiful view but the water was too cold for extended enjoyment. Misty Gate is ideal for budget-conscious travelers seeking a comfortable stay with easy access to nearby attractions, despite some maintenance issues and the lack of modern amenities.
